Talwar Thakore & Associates has promoted Managing Associate Rituparno Bhattacharya to partnership. The promotion will be effective from April 1, 2016.

Rituparno joined the Mumbai office of TT&A in 2013 from Amarchand Mangaldas. He is part of the firm’s Banking and Finance team.

A graduate of NUJS, Kolkata, Rituparno started his career with Amarchand Mangaldas in 2005. In 2009, he moved to Phoenix Legal, where he spent about two years, after which he moved back to Amarchand Mangaldas.

In 2014, the firm had promoted Rahul Gulati to partnership, who is also part of the Banking & Finance team.
