[Exclusive]: SAM Partner Saanjh Purohit leaves to join Facebook

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Saanjh Purohit has left the firm to join Facebook.

It is understood that Purohit is joining Facebook as Associate General Counsel.

Confirming this development, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Managing Partner, Pallavi Shroff and Partner & Head – Arbitration, Tejas Karia, said,

“We are very happy for Saanjh and wish her all the very best in her new role. Facebook has been one of the firm’s top clients for a long time and this transition will further deepen our relationship.”

Purohit is a graduate of NALSAR, Hyderabad. She joined Amarchand Mangaldas in 2006, and was made Partner in 2015.

Purohit specialises in Commercial Litigation and Arbitration, Environmental Law, Information Technology and related advisory work.
