Sayak Maity, who was working with Shuva Mandal at Tata Group, is rejoining AZB & Partners as a Partner in the firm’s Mumbai office.

Maity had moved to Tata last year to be part of Shuva Mandal’s team. Prior to that, he was working as a Principal Associate at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. He had joined SAM & Co along with Shuva in 2015 from AZB & Partners.

AZB has also promoted three of its lawyers to partnership – Vipul Jain and Jasmin Karkhanis in Mumbai and Veena Gopalakrishnan in Bangalore.
