AZB & Partners has announced the appointment of Harini Balaji as Senior Consultant at its Mumbai office.

Balaji's career spans over 32 years, including more than 26 years of regulatory governance experience with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

Throughout her career, she has primarily focused on policy initiatives in areas such as fund management, corporate restructuring, primary and secondary markets, listing, governance, and debt and hybrid securities, including Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Her work also extended to enforcement in areas like surveillance and investigation.
