Senior Advocate Amar Preet Singh Deol appointed Advocate General for Punjab

His predecessor Atul Nanda had recently resigned shortly after a change in the State's leadership.

Senior Advocate Amar Preet Singh Deol has been appointed the new Advocate General for Punjab.

In a notification issued today, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit signed off on the appointment of Deol, who will replace Atul Nanda as AG.

Nanda had resigned as AG shortly after Amarinder Singh stepped down as Chief Minister of the State.
