Senior Advocate and Additional Solicitor General RS Suri passes away

Suri was in the profession for more than 4 decades having enrolled in Delhi in 1976. In 1984, he founded the law firm Suri & Co. He also served as President of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association.

Senior Advocate, Additional Solicitor General and former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association Rupinder Singh Suri passed away.

Suri was in the profession for more than 4 decades having enrolled in Delhi in 1976. In 1984, he founded the law firm Suri & Co. He also served as President of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association.

He served as standing counsel in Supreme Court for Punjab in two periods totalling to about 15 years.

He was designated Senior Advocate in 2009 and was appointed Additional Solicitor General in June 2020.
