The senior counsel passed away after a brief illness.

Former Minister of Law and Justice and veteran lawyer Shanti Bhushan passed away today after a brief illness.

The senior counsel served as the Law Minister of India and held office from 1977 to 1979.

In 2018, the veteran lawyer spoke to Bar & Bench about how he fell in love with the profession, the multiple times he was asked to join the Bench, the Emergency case, and a lot more.
