Shardul Amarchand Partner Jasleen Oberoi resigns to take up in-house role

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Delhi Partner Jasleen Oberoi has resigned from the firm to take up an in-house role.

We understand that Jasleen is joining JCB India as General Counsel. However, Jasleen declined to comment on her next move.

Confirming the news about Jasleen’s decision to resign, the firm’s Managing Partner Pallavi Shroff said,

“We will miss her but at the same time we wish her all the very best in life”.

Jasleen has experience in Commercial Arbitration, Corporate Litigation and General Corporate Advisory Practice. She also has special expertise in Economic Offences, Forensic as well as Internal Investigations, and prosecutions, advisory in relation to anti-bribery and anti-corruption issues/allegations.

She joined Amarchand Mangaldas in 2008 and was made partner in 2012. Prior to that, she was working at Dua Associates. She started her career in the Chambers of Jayant Bhushan.

On her decision to leave SAM, Jasleen said,

“I have had wonderful 9 years with Amarchand Mangaldas. Pallavi Ma’am and Shardul Sir have been great mentors. My stint with the firm has been both enriching and empowering. I am looking forward to the next stage in my career.”
