Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Equity Partner Akila Agrawal has resigned from the firm, according to sources.

We have reached out to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Managing Partner Pallavi Shroff for comment.

Akila is a Senior Partner in the M&A and General Corporate practice at the firm. She specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions and Joint Ventures. She leads a 15-lawyer team

Akila has extensive experience in handling Takeover Offers, Delisting Offers, Corporate Governance matters, Commercial Contracts and SEBI Matters.

She is a 1999 graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She joined Amarchand Mangaldas in 2002. Prior to joining the Firm, she was a Senior Executive with Wipro in Bangalore. She was made Partner in 2008 and was made Equity Partner in 2011.
