Shardul Amarchand’s Partner Vidyut Gulati to join Cairn India as General Counsel

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Delhi Partner Vidyut Gulati has resigned from the firm to join Cairn India as General Counsel.

Bar & Bench had reported two weeks back about her decision to resign to take up in-house position when Pallavi Shroff commented, “She is moving in-house and we wish her all the very best.”

Vidyut will be starting at Cairn India in the last week of December after spending almost 10 years at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

Vidyut joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas in 2006 prior to which she was working with Dua Associates. A graduate of Campus Law Centre, Vidyut worked in the Projects team and was made partner in 2012.

Another Partner Anubhuti Agrawal has also resigned from the firm to join Hilton as Counsel – Development and Operations, India.
