HSA Advocates has hired Sharmil Bhushan from Khaitan Legal Associates as a Partner in its Mumbai office.

Bhushan has over 14 years of experience in the field, having advised various multinational and domestic companies as well as funds on various aspects of banking & finance including structuring and funds formation, inbound and outbound investments, securities market, strategic alliances, joint ventures, corporate and debt restructuring, and general corporate and commercial transactions, among others.

She is a graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai, and also holds an LL.M. from University of Mumbai.

Bhushan started her career with Thakker & Thakker, before moving to Economic Laws Practice in 2010. Two years later, she moved to Essel Finance, where she worked as Head of Legal and Compliance. She joined Khaitan Legal Associates as a Partner in 2018.
