SILF holds Sindoor Meeting at Pahalgam, resolves to support families affected by Pahalgam attack

During the August 16 meeting, SILF members paid homage to the deceased victims and resolved to provide any assistance to affected families.

The Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) held a meeting on August 16 at Pahalgam to condemn the Pahalgam terror attack of April 22 and to applaud the success of Operation Sindoor by the Indian armed forces.

The meeting was attended by SILF President Dr. Lalit Bhasin, Senior Vice President Alok Kumar, Vice Presidents Sudhir Kumar, Shweta Bharti, Mumtaz Bhalla, Joint General Secretaries Yakesh Anand, Amitabh Chaturvedi, Treasurer Pratap Shankar, and Advocate Aditya Bhasin.

The SILF leadership commended the actions of the government of India and the armed forces in eliminating the three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack in the joint 'Operation Mahadev' of the Indian Army, CRPF, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The members offered condolences to the families of the tourists who had become victims of the terror attack on unarmed civilians.

The members paid homage to the deceased victims and unanimously resolved to provide any and all assistance to affected families.

In the resolution passed at the meeting, the members also reassured Prime Minister Narendra Modi of SILF's continued support in its initiatives.
