S&R Associates has promoted Shivaji Bhattacharya and Prachi Goel to the partnership. Both Shivaji and Prachi are part of the firm’s corporate practice.

Shivaji Bhattacharya’s corporate practice covers mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign investment, regulatory and general corporate matters. He is a 2009 graduate NALSAR University of Law.  Prior to joining S&R in 2010, he worked with Coal India.  Shivaji is based in the New Delhi office.

Prachi Goel’s corporate practice covers mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, regulatory and general corporate matters, including significant experience in the financial services sector.

She received an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, the University of Delhi in 2007 and an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2012.  Prior to joining S&R in 2017, she worked with A&M Law Offices.  Prachi is based in the Mumbai office.
