Sunil Seth, co-founding partner of Seth Dua & Associates passes away

Sunil Seth, co-founding partner of Seth Dua & Associates, passed away yesterday after having met with a motorcycle accident. Seth was 53 years old.

As reported, Seth lost control of his vehicle and collided with a crash barrier resulting in head injuries despite wearing a helmet.

The incident occurred near Panchgaon village under Bilaspur police station, around 35 kilometres from Gurgaon.

Sunil Seth had co-founded the firm with Atul Dua. As provided on the firm’s website, Sunil Seth had over 27 years in advising multinational and Indian corporations on a plethora of matters including setting up businesses and several cross-border commercial transactions.

He also played a role in drafting the ‘Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Bill, 2011’ in addition to being retained by the Ministry of Housing for advice on various Constitutional and Administrative Law issues with respect to Real Estate.

He also held several honorary positions, including but not limited to, being a Member at the ASSOCHAM Trade Committe and FICCI Joint Business Council; Regional Representative at the International Bar Association, Water Law Committee and Vice President of the Gurgaon Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
