As per sources, the Supreme Court Collegium may recommend the transfer of three judges to the High Courts of Hyderabad, Allahabad and Karnataka.

Justice Raghavendra S Chauhan of the Karnataka High Court is likely to be recommended for transfer to the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Justice Chauhan obtained his law degree in 1983. Following his enrolment with the Rajasthan Bar Council the same year, he practiced in the Rajasthan High Court from 1986 to 2005. His areas of practice included Criminal, Constitutional and Service law. He was elevated as a permanent judge of the Rajasthan High Court in 2005. In March 2015, he was transferred to the Karnataka High Court.

Another judge serving at the Karnataka High Court, Justice Vineet Kothari, is likely to be recommended for transfer to the Allahabad High Court. Justice Kothari obtained his LL.B. degree in 1981, and thereafter went on to obtain his Masters in law in 1999. He enrolled as an advocate in 1984 with the Rajasthan Bar Council. His areas of practice included Constitutional law, arbitration and company law. He has been serving as a Karnataka High Court judge since April 2016. Prior to that, he served 11 years on the bench of the Rajasthan High Court, from June 2005. 

Justice PB Bajanthri, presently at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, is likely to be recommended for transfer back to his parent High Court of Karnataka. Following his enrolment in 1990, Justice Bajantri practiced in the Karnataka High Court, the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal and the Central Administrative Tribunal. In 2014, he was appointed an additional government advocate, in which role he continued until his elevation as a judge. He was appointed an additional judge of the Karnataka High Court in January 2015. In March 2015, he was transferred to the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
