The Supreme Court has reconstituted its Gender Sensitisation & Internal Complaints Committee with Justice BV Nagarathna continuing as the chairperson.
An office order to this effect was issued on Tuesday.
The reconstituted committee will come into effect from May 28.
Justice N Kotiswar Singh has been also retained as a judicial member of the committee.
Among the new members inducted into the committee are Senior Advocate Liz Mathew, advocate Maheravish Rein and Vividhta Consulting founder Sneh Sharma.
They replace Senior Advocate Jaideep Gupta, advocate Soumyajit Pani and Leni Chaudhuri respectively.
Senior Advocate Menaka Guruswamy and advocate Nina Gupta continue as representatives of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).
Advocate Sakshi Banga has also been retained as an SCBA representative, while advocate Prabha Swami has been included as the representative of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association (SCAORA) in place of advocate Anindita Pujari.
Registrar (Judicial) Kaveri has been appointed Member Secretary of the committee.
Sushma Rawat replaces Madhu Chauhan as the representative of the Supreme Court Bar Clerks’ Association.
