Talwar Thakore & Associates (TT&A) has promoted Counsel P Ram Kumar to partnership effective April 1, 2019.
Ram has been a critical part of the firm’s competition team.
He had joined the firm in 2011 as part of Vinod Dhall’s team. Dhall has now exited the firm and joined Platinum Partners as Senior Advisor.
Ram will be the firm’s first partner in Delhi. He has over 11 years of experience working on a variety of competition and corporate law transactions. He has advised Indian and international clients on a host of complex merger control, cartelisation, and abuse of dominance cases.

Ram graduated in June 2007 with an LL.B. degree from the School of Excellence in Law, India. After graduation, he went on to do his LL.M. in International Business Laws at the National University of Singapore. He also has a degree in Competition Economics from King’s College, London.
TT&A now comprises seven partners and 40 fee earners in Bombay and Delhi.
