“With Sakya and Avirup joining the infrastructure, projects and regulatory team, HSA now has the biggest and most experienced practice team in this area in India”, said Hemant Sahai.

The firm now has five Partners in this practice area including Hemant Sahai, Anjan Das, Sakya Chaudhuri, Pranav and Avirup Nag.

Aniket Prasoon has also joined the same team from Trilegal.

Hemant added, “We have a very strong accent and focus towards infrastructure and projects. The recognition of our firm in this area is becoming quite apparent, as I have recently been engaged as the strategic adviser to government of Japan, for infrastructure in India.”

This is not the only Counsel-level departure at Trilegal; Sameer Guha in Delhi and Nidhi Khadria in Mumbai also recently left the firm.
