Trilegal Counsel Shankh Sengupta promoted to Partnership

Trilegal has promoted Counsel Shankh Sengupta to partnership, taking the total number of partners at the firm to 24.

Shankh said,

“It has been great being part of Trilegal’s growing commercial litigation practice in Mumbai and Delhi and will continue to focus on both jurisdictions. We now have robust litigation teams across all our offices. Looking forward to exciting times ahead. “

A graduate of National Law Institute University at Bhopal, Shankh joined Trilegal’s litigation team in 2011 from S&R Associates. He worked at S&R for 3 years before joining Trilegal before which he was working at J. Sagar Associates.

On Shankh’s promotion, Trilegal Partner Sitesh Mukherjee commented,

Recently, Trilegal Counsel, Sakya Singha Chaudhuri had resigned from the firm to join HSA Advocates as a Partner. Prior to that, Counsel Sameer Guha had left the firm to take up an in-house role.
