Trilegal crosses 1,000 lawyer mark almost 25 years since inception

Founding Partner Rahul Matthan collaborated with Bengaluru-based rock band Thermal And A Quarter to release a song to commemorate the milestone.

Bar & Bench

Almost 25 years after it was launched, Trilegal has hit the 1,000-lawyer mark.

The firm's most recent hires were Aditya Bhargava, Murtaza Zoomkawala, Vijay Parthasarathi and Vinay Sirohia, who were all inducted into the firm's partnership, which is now 130 lawyers strong.

Rahul Matthan, one of the Founding Partners of the firm, recently posted the development on LinkedIn, saying,

"Trilegal, the law firm that a few of us set up nearly 25 years ago, crossed a 1000 lawyers. No matter how successful we thought we would be in 2000 when we signed the partnership deed, I don't think any of us expected that, 25 years later, the firm would be this big."

Matthan also announced that he had collaborated with Bengaluru-based rock band Thermal And A Quarter to release a song to commemorate the milestone.

Titled Raise the Bar, the song, Matthan says, captures the journey and the essence of the Trilegal spirit.
