Trilegal scoops JSA’s Gautam Shahi to boost Competition Practice

Trilegal has hired J. Sagar Associates’ Competition lawyer Gautam Shahi as a Counsel to head the firm’s Competition Practice, according to sources.

Trilegal Partner Rahul Matthan was not available for comment. This development was first reported by VCCircle.

A graduate of Army Institute of Law, Shahi initially worked at APJ-SLG before joining JSA in 2011. He has spent more than five years at JSA specializing in Competition Law and Policy.

Trilegal had earlier hired S&R Associates’ Bhakta Patnaik  to lead its capital markets practice.
