Wadia Ghandy Partner Ankit Majmudar resigns to join Platinum Partners; Wadia to close down Bangalore office

Wadia Ghandy Bangalore Partner Ankit Majmudar has resigned from the firm and will be joining Platinum Partners. He will leave the firm next year on January 31, 2015.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Dhawal Mehta, the firm’s joint Managing Partner confirmed Ankit’s resignation.

Nihar Mody, Platinum Managing Partner confirmed to Bar & Bench that Ankit will be joining Platinum Partners and setting up the firm’s Bangalore office.

Majmudar had joined Wadia Ghandy in 2000 after graduating from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and has been with the firm since then.

It is also understood that Wadia Ghandy is closing its Bangalore office considering Ankit is the only Partner there. The firm had also recently shut its Singapore office.

Wadia Ghandy has also recently seen the exit of two Partners Amit Manubarwala, who has joined ELP and Vijay Sureka, who joined AZB & Partners.
