IDIA Karnataka to hold Law School 101 Bootcamp

The two-day certificate course is aimed at equipping early-year law students and aspirants with the skills, strategies, and awareness necessary to navigate law school and legal careers.

The Karnataka Chapter of Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education (IDIA) is conducting a two-day online bootcamp titled Law School 101.

IDIA is a non-profit, student-run movement that seeks to empower underprivileged and marginalised children through legal education.

The two-day certificate course offered by is aimed at equipping early-year law students and aspirants with the skills, strategies, and awareness necessary to navigate law school and legal careers.

The bootcamp will be conducted by distinguished alumni of the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru (NLSIU), who will share their experience and insights from academic, professional, and research pursuits.

Dates and Mode: The bootcamp will be held online on November 22-23, 2025.

Sessions: The bootcamp will consist of six sessions conducted across two days. These sessions will cover mooting and alternative dispute resolution, legal writing and academic research, CV building and internships, careers in corporate law, careers in litigation and advocacy, and postgraduate studies and fellowships.

Speakers: The sessions will be led by NLSIU alumni who have excelled in various fields of law and higher education, both in India and abroad.

Eligibility: The bootcamp is open to all law students and aspirants interested in learning more about law school and legal careers.

Certificates: All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation issued by IDIA Karnataka upon completion of the program.

Registration Fees:

- One Day: ₹500

- Both Days: ₹800

(Fee waivers are available for first-generation learners and IDIA Scholars. Applicants seeking a waiver may write to idia@nls.ac.in with proof.)
