Attend: "Techtonic" NLIU's Law and Technology Fair, 2021 (Apr 17 - 18)

The Cell for Law and Technology at the National Law Institute University (NLIU) is happy to announce that in furtherance of our objective to generate awareness and facilitate research in the field of technology law we are organising "Techtonic".

The Fair will host many one of a kind events.

Event 1: NLIU Policy Case Competition

We have grown up in the digital age. With the internet and social media on our fingertips, it has been far too common for people to become a target of cyber bullying.

The Policy Case Competition is a unique platform for people to come together with policy suggestions on the topic "Regulating Cyber Bullying". The first step is to register through the registration form by 11:59 p.m. 8th April 2021.

The Policy Case Competition provides an avenue to students to come up with creative solutions to contemporary legal, economic or socio-political issues. Students get the opportunity to showcase their critical and analytical skills, and test their problem-solving capabilities before a panel of industry experts.

Despite the rampant cases of cyberbullying, India does not have any dedicated legislation to address this issue. In this light, we believe that it is important for the student community of law schools to engage in this discourse and come up with potential solutions to address this issue.

Event 2: The Round Table

This will be a moderated and interactive discussion with a distinguished panel of technology law experts and working professionals who will provide their invaluable insights on ‘Emerging Avenues of Tech Regulation and the Career Opportunities in the Industry’. It will take place on 17th April, 2021.
