Digital revolution in Mediation education: E-Mediation Writings organizes Classroom Series Program

The classes aim to impart knowledge on Mediation, based on the recent proposed curriculum by the Bar Council of India.

With a view to teaching law students the intricacies of mediation, a Classroom Series Program has been introduced under the aegis of E-Mediation Writings.

The first webinar in this series was held on December 5, 2020 on the topic Importance of Mediation-DOOR TO DOOR (Door of Opportunities to Resolve- Door of Opportunities to Reform) wherein Colin Rule, President and CEO of mediate.com and Shiv Kumar, an advocate with 40 years of active practice at the Karnataka High Court shared their views on the topic.

As part of the series, a webinar on Mediation Education was organized on January 1, 2021, wherein Manan Kumar Mishra, Senior Advocate and Chairman of the Bar Council of India conveyed his best wishes to the pan-India Mediator Coordinators of E-Mediation Writings (EMW) for initiating India’s First EMW Online Classroom Series 2021 for law students from 21 states and union territories.

The classes aim to impart knowledge on Mediation, based on the recent proposed curriculum by the Bar Council of India.

In the first class of the series, 77 students participated in a lecture by senior International mediator AJ Jawad, who shed light on the nature and root cause of conflicts.

The entire series is supervised by Advocate, mediation trainer and Coordinator-in-Chief of EMW, Pusshp Gupta and senior member of EMW, Thankachan VP.
