Faculty of Law, Lucknow University wins the Sixth CL Agarwal Memorial National Moot Court Competition

The Faculty of Law, Lucknow University has won the Sixth CL Agarwal Memorial National Moot Court Competition organized by the School of Law, Raffles University Neemrana, Rajasthan.

The competition was held offline from August 26 to August 28.

The winning team comprised of Pratibha Khatri, Amrit Singh and Kritika Singh. Pratibha Khatri was also adjudged the Best Speaker.

The moot proposition primarily dealt with Law of Contract and Private International Law, while simultaneously dealing with the Law of Torts.

Discussing the team's win, Pratibha said, "the Competition was very smoothly conducted, it was a great learning experience for our team".

Commenting on the team's strategy she said, "Cooperation and Motivation among the teammates are the two wheels of the mooting cart. Apt division of work and in depth research drove us through the competition".

Kritika added, "there's always a subtle room for improvement, constantly adopting positive changes in right direction helped a lot. Performing your best is important, however ensuring that it is, 'the' best is most important".

Amrit said, "being confident, answering with brevity and having a thorough research are primary ornaments which a participant must adorn. Overcome the stage fear and half the game is won".
