Dr. Bimal Patel, Director at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, has been appointed a part-time member of the 21st Law Commission of India..As per a press release sent by GNLU, Dr. Patel will be one of a maximum of five part-time members of the Law Commission, which is now headed by ex-Supreme Court judge Justice BS Chauhan..The other members are former judge of the Gujarat High Court Justice Ravi Tripathi, Law Secretary Dr. G Narayana Raju and Secretary Dr. Pawan Sharma. The Commission constituted on September 1 of last year, has a tenure of three years.
