The Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education (IDIA) initiative started by Prof. Shamnad Basheer of the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) has been appreciated by all spheres of the legal community.

The IDIA got its logo (pictured) after Ashish Alexander won the IDIA Logo Designing Competition along with a cash prize of Rs. 5000 ($111) this month. Ashish is a 2nd year law student at NUJS, Kolkata. The logo symbolises and explains, “The light bulb in the picture stands for the light of education and the flame of creativity. From this light springs forth various underprivileged IDIA students who graduate as lawyers. Their different colours represent the diversity of India”.

IDIA Question Making Competition (Legal Reasoning) aims to select the best set of questions. One must submit 10 questions at the very minimum. The more creative and tougher the questions, the better!

For more details on how to write a perfect set of questions and to view sample questions, please visit the IDIA site.
