Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida was adjudged as runners-up in the 7th International Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition organized by Symbiosis Law School, Pune held virtually between April 21-24.

The team comprised second year (2020-25) B.A LL.B Students Ananya Y, Durgesh Kumari Tomar and Jayeta Deb Sarkar.

Team representing Lloyd Law College was declared runners up and also bagged the best memorial award in the competition conducted virtually.

The students have been under the guidance of team Coaches Advocate Shubham Mishra & Advocate Vaibhav Shahi.

Symbiosis Law School, Pune organizes this competition on International Criminal Law in accordance with the procedure of the International Criminal Court, The Hague, Netherlands.

The Competition has been conceived with the aim of creating awareness for International Criminal Law Jurisprudence and providing a platform for development of advocacy skills which shall further the interest of justice in the domain of International Criminal Law.

The theme for the Seventh Edition of SICTA was “Mode(s) of individual criminal liability relating to the use or deployment of autonomous warfare technology and allied assault weapon systems.”
