About Lloyd Law College

Lloyd Law College is a premier educational institution offering legal education since year 2003 in affiliation with CCS University, Meerut, UP (state university established in 1965), and approved by the Bar Council of India.

The College was blessed with the guidance, mentorship and patronage of Padma Bhushan Prof. (Dr.) N.R. Madhava Menon, the distinguished educationist and the flag bearer of legal education reforms in India.

Prof. Menon was a visionary of legal education and the designer and architect of the five-year integrated B.A.LL.B. Programme in India and the Founder of the premier legal institutions of the country including the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. Recognized as the 'Legend of Law' and 'Father of Modern Legal Education in India', Prof. Menon’s relentless efforts in revamping and modernizing the legal education of the country has successfully brought Indian legal education at par with the legal institutions in the developed countries.

EVENT 1

Law Student Conference 2021-22

Theme: Technology and Future of Law

Dates:

Abstract Submission: 1 February, 2022

Submission of Research Paper (Soft Copy): 18 February, 2022

Law students conference: 26 – 27 February 2022.

Participation

1. From India: Researchers from seven qualified teams from India round will participate in the Law Students' Conference.

2. Other than India:

i) Researchers from the teams participating in Prof. NR Madhava Menon Mooting Competition (Asian Round).

ii) LL.B. Students from Law Universities / Colleges / Institutes.

Abstract and Paper Submission

All presenters shall submit their abstract to:

The soft copy of final paper shall be submitted by email to lawstudentconference.ajc@lloydlawcollege.edu.in latest by February 18 , 2022.

Judicial Colloquium 2021-22

Theme: "New Asia and Diverse Constitutional Framework"

Dates:

Abstract Submission: 01 February, 2022.

Submission of Paper (Soft Copy): 18 February, 2022.

Opening Session of Judicial Colloquium: 26 February, 2022.

Judicial Colloquium: 26 -27 February, 2022.

Participation

1. From India:

i) Members of Faculty who are nominated to be coaches to mentor the 7 qualified teams from India round for the Asian round of the Mooting Competition shall participate in the Judicial Colloquium.

ii) Ph.D. Scholars.

iii) Post Graduate Law Students (LL.M.)

2. Other than India:

i) Members of Faculty who are nominated to be coaches to mentor the teams from the Asian countries participating in the Asia round of the Mooting Competition shall participate in the Judicial Colloquium.

ii) Ph.D. Scholars.

iii) Post Graduate Law Students (LL.M.)

3. The participants will present their research papers in the Colloquium giving their country and / or comparative perspective on the topic chosen.

4. In addition to above mentioned participation, other jurists and legal educationists from the participant countries will also be invited to present their papers and participate in the deliberations.
