The Bombay High Court may have dismissed the challenge to the state law common entrance test, but the law admission process in Maharashtra continues to be plagued with problems.

Yesterday, the state’s Directorate of Higher Education  released a revised tentative schedule for the post-exam admission process.

As per this schedule, the seat distribution across all the participating colleges will be finalised by July 29.

At the same time, students can start filling in the online forms between July 26-31. Students under the NRI, OCI and PIO categories will have to submit the forms, pay the fees, and have their documents verified within this period as well.

Once this is done, the Directorate of Higher Education shall be releasing the first list on August 3, the second list on August 9, the third list on August 16, and the fourth list on August 29. If, after this entire process, there are still some seats available, then the colleges have to publish a list regarding the same.

All in all, the final set of admissions will take place between September 9-12 this year.
