Since late last year, we have built a network of Campus Ambassadors across more than fifty law schools all over India. These law students have been providing us with information on campus events and activities, and also sharing legal articles.

This series of interviews is meant to turn the spotlight on these hardworking and dedicated individuals.

Why did you choose to study law? Did you have any other interests before deciding to pursue law?

I completed my schooling in a city where one of the most leading National Law University was situated near to my home. I decided to pursue law after eliminating all the other possible options which I had after my High School.

The presence of the Rajasthan High Court also gave me an insight into the great profession of law at a very early age. I was attracted to the immense contribution of the law in social change.

Law has immensely contributed to eradicating some of the biggest social practices from our society. After reading Jurisprudence at the university, I quickly realized that my views and aspirations belong to the sociological school of law. I didn’t have any other interests before this and am glad that I decided to pursue law.

Why did you choose to be a Bar & Bench Campus Ambassador?

Every law student who wants to keep abreast of the current legal developments has accessed Bar & Bench during his course at the university.

I liked the accessibility of the platform to the number of members of the fraternity including the practicing advocates and judges.

I wanted to be part of this great organization and contribute to the growth of this platform by representing it in my campus and at other places.

What are your plans after graduation?

After working for some years, I want to pursue my LL.M. in International Arbitration from the UK. I have a keen interest in International Dispute Settlement and want to work in an international law firm. I also aspire to do a Ph.D. in this field.
