NALSAR reaches the Jessup quarters; Varun Baliga wins citation for Third Best Oralist

The University of Sydney won the 56th Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition organised from April 5, 2015 to April 11 this year.

Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile were the runners up at the competition.

The institutes representing India at this year’s competition were Jindal Global Law School, Sonepath and National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, Hyderabad.

The team comprising of Varun Baliga, Sanya Samtani, Preeti Kolluri and Raji Gururaj from NALSAR, Hyderabad made it to the quarter-finals with Varun Baliga winning the citation for the Third Best Oralist.
