Recruitment Tracker Jindal Global Law School sees placement for all 22 students sitting for recruitment from Class of 2012

The first graduating batch from the Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat (JGLS) has secured 100% placements for itself with all 22 students who sat for recruitment managing to get placed. Out of a total number of 23 graduating students, 22 sat for placement while the remaining one student opted for preparing for the judicial services examination. Out of the 22 placed, 4 students have opted for litigation.

As per information provided by the Career Development and Placement Division (CDPD) of JGLS, out of the 22 students who sat for recruitment, 17 belonged to the 3-year LLB course while 5 students were pursuing the LLM course.

The recruitment process, which started in February 2012, saw placements in organisations such as as Ernst & Young, Tata & Sons, Economic Law Practice and Themis Associates. Seven students have been placed in domestic law firms such as Dua Associates and Economic Law Practice.  Students have also taken up positions in research and policy organisations such as CUTS International and the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) in Delhi.

One student was selected for the Lawyers for Change Fellowship.
