While rendering academic instructions, faculty members embrace a combination of collaborative and reflective approaches to augment diverse learning modules, including e-learning, and online interactive learning. Some of the programmes are also administered with the help of Information and Communication tools and technologies. The knowledge produced and disseminated by such pedagogical approaches has fostered research and development initiatives among the law students and has encouraged entrepreneurial ventures in them.

Other than the aforementioned research centers, the School of Law has recently created the Centre of Excellence in Public Policy, Sustainability and ESG Research (CEPPSER) to promote research on critical areas that intersect law, public policy, administration, governance, etc. Focusing on the complex yet dynamic relationship between law and public policy, the Centre aims to underscore the relevance of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches in understanding the operation of laws in the changing socio-legal and socio-political context. Besides endorsing trend-setting teaching and research, the Alliance School of Law, in pursuance of its universalistic liberal legal education policy, has allocated resources towards the development of clinical legal education platforms such as the Alliance Moot Court Society and the Alliance University Legal Services Clinic. The School of Law has also entered into synergistic collaborations with institutions that are interested in advancing clinical legal education in India. Such endeavors coupled with initiatives from individual faculty members have significantly improved the quality of legal education, including clinical legal education. Notwithstanding a few impediments, legal education in the Alliance School of Law has developed as a unique field of inquiry, incorporating diverse academic objectives and advocating value-laden, skill-based production of legal knowledge.

As we gradually move towards a knowledge-driven economy, institutions of legal learning such as the Alliance School of Law engage themselves in the formation, diffusion, and execution of valid legal knowledge. The Alliance School of Law strives to uphold a progressive legal education policy that supports skill enhancement and sharing of legal knowledge. It also attempts to promote a symbiotic learning environment, focusing on active learning, learning-through-doing and blended learning.
