Abhishek Malhotra, Founding Partner, TMT Law Practice said in a press release,
“This is a unique and first of a kind initiative on this subject, and we are very excited to be a pioneer in the industry to partner with a reputed institution like NUJS Kolkata and start this Forum. Given the push of the Government on Make in India, especially in the Defence sector and the emphasis on space technology, this partnership should herald a new area of practice, and the Forum will play a key role in the coming years in the development, research and advocacy of Air & Space Law.”
The Forum will organize an Annual International Conference on Air & Space Law, with a focus on Legal/IPR protection. The Forum will also organize an annual essay competition and publication, as well as activities concerning advocacy and consultancy in the realm of Air & Space Law, including round table sessions, research activities, collaborative training and more.
