LEX MACULA is a registered NGO under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. We are a youth organisation specializing in organizing moot courts, debates, seminars and other legal competitions for a much better learning experience than what is offered to the law students.
THE EVENT
The topic ‘Human Dignity under the Indian Constitution’ has become increasingly relevant as all of humanity is understanding new meanings of dignity during the global pandemic and at times like these, it becomes paramount for us as a society to look at the primary understandings of human dignity given under the Constitution of India.
This session would give the attendees greater appreciation for the different scopes as well as the application of the doctrine.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra was sworn in as the Chief Justice of India on August 28th, 2017. He had a 14-month tenure and his last day in office was on 2nd October 2018.
Justice Dipak Misra hails from the state of Odisha. He enrolled as an Advocate in 1977 and practiced Constitutional, Civil, Criminal, Revenue, Service and Sales Tax matters at the Orissa High Court and the Service Tribunal.
