Antares Legal advises SWAMIH Investment Fund-I on last mile financing for Punjab group housing project

SBI Ventures Limited, acting through SWAMIH (Special Window for Affordable and Mid-Income Housing) Investment Fund-I, has extended ₹68.5 crore in financing to Urban Nest Projects Private Limited for the development of the group housing project ‘The Zirk’ at Zirakpur, SAS Nagar, Punjab.

Antares Legal advised SWAMIH Investment Fund-I on the transaction. The Firm advised on legal due diligence and title verification, structuring of the investment, drafting and negotiation of definitive documentation, and closing support.

The transaction team was led by Seher Ali (Partner) and Swati Varma (Partner), with support from Sanskar Ajmera (Associate).

The investment is part of SWAMIH Fund’s mandate to provide last-mile funding for stressed and stalled residential projects to facilitate completion and delivery to homebuyers.
