CAM, TT&A, WvT, Trowers & Hamlins act on ACEN India securing ₹751 crore funding for 100 MW wind project in Karnataka

ACEN India unit Diyos Renewables India Project Private Limited has secured a term loan facility and non-fund based facilities aggregating to ₹751 crore from MUFG Bank, Ltd. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Diyos Renewables India Project on this transaction.

TT&A served as the Indian legal counsel for MUFG Bank and SMBC on this financing deal.

The transaction team consisted of Pallavi Meena (Partner), Pragya Sood (Partner), Akshay Malhotra (Partner), Pratha Agarwal (Managing Associate), Ankita Mandal (Managing Associate), Amrit Mahal (Managing Associate), Siddharth Tandon (Managing Associate), Kush Saggi (Managing Associate), and Associates Eshani Agarwal, Manasvini Vyas, Sangita Sharma and Ritwik Sekhri.

WvT served as the Dutch legal counsel for MUFG Bank and SMBC.

Trowers & Hamlins served as the English and Singaporean legal counsel for MUFG Bank and SMBC.

The proceeds will be used by Diyos Renewables India Project for the design, development, financing, construction, and commissioning of a 100 MW AC wind energy generation project in Vijayapura district in the state of Karnataka.

This is the first greenfield wind energy generation project in India for the ACEN group.
