CMS INDUSLAW advises ITC Hotels on acquisition of Welcomhotel, Ahmedabad

ITC Hotels Limited is set to make a 100% acquisition of GHK Hospitality & Infrastructures Limited, which owns Welcomhotel, Ahmedabad.

CMS INDUSLAW advised ITC Hotels on this acquisition.

The transaction team consisted of Shantanu Jindel (Partner), Shweta Gupta (Partner), Associates Aanshavi Srishti, Abhinav A, Suryanshu Mishra and Samarth Jain.

The Corporate Secretarial team, which advised on the due diligence aspects of the transaction, comprised Ruhi Jain (Executive Director) and Akshay Madhvani (Assistant Manager).

Welcomhotel is currently operated by ITC Hotels under an Operating Services Agreement. The proposed acquisition will further strengthen ITC Hotels' owned asset portfolio in Ahmedabad, enabling the company to expand its presence across multiple hospitality segments and price points in one of India's fastest-growing commercial centres.
