Freshfields, Touchstone, AZB act on Mercuria Energy Group - Tata International JV

Mercuria Energy Group has entered into a joint venture with Tata International to scale global commodities trading and supply chain solutions, across multiple commodities, including energy, metals, agricultural products, oil and gas, and environmental products.

Freshfields advised Mercuria Energy Group on entering this joint venture.

The transaction is led by Rhys Evans (Partner) and Piusha Bose (Counsel).

Touchstone Partners advised Mercuria Energy Group on the Indian legal and regulatory aspects of the transaction. 

The transaction team included Gaurav Desai (Partner), Vinod Dhall (Senior Adviser), Riya Jain (Senior Associate), Associates Juhi Hirani, Kabir Walia, Mahak Goyal, Rakshit Rana and Samridhi Shrivastava.

AZB & Partners advised Tata International on entering this joint venture.
