JSA, TT&A advise LeapFrog on $95 million investment in ReNew Green Energy

A LeapFrog Investments Group, Ltd.-led consortium has made a $95 million investment in ReNew Green Energy Solutions Private Limited.

JSA Advocates & Solicitors advised LeapFrog on their investment in ReNew.

The JSA Corporate team was led by Sidharrth Shankar (Partner), and included Nandini Seth (Partner), Shringarika Priyadarshini (Partner) and Aditya Vardhan Dayal (Partner), with support from Rishika Agarwal (Senior Associate), Pranav Rao N (Senior Associate), Associates Aditya Sinha and Aashreya Kodesia.

The Competition Law team comprised Nisha Kaur Uberoi (Partner and Chair, Competition Law), Pranav Satyam (Partner), Rishi Kauntia (Senior Associate) and Mayank Gandhi (Associate).

The Projects and Infrastructure team comprised Vishnu Sudarsan (Partner), Sugandha Somani Gopal (Partner), Mehar Vasant (Senior Associate), Amoolya Khurana (Senior Associate), Priyanka Barik (Senior Associate), Associates Vihaan Pathak, S. Santosh, Samrat Chakraborty and Sneha Sehgal (Junior Associate).

The Indirect Tax team comprised Manish Mishra (Partner), Ankur Mittal (Counsel), Shikha Parmar (Principal Associate) and Shubh Dixit (Senior Associate).

The Firm had recently advised LeapFrog on leading a Shubham Housing Development Finance fundraise.

TT&A advised LeapFrog on due diligence aspects of this transaction.

ReNew Green operates one of India’s largest clean energy portfolios for businesses, with approximately 2.5 GW of committed capacity across multiple states.

The investment will also strengthen its position in delivering sustainable energy solutions and expanding its footprint in India’s renewable energy sector.
