LKS, Burgeon Law act on BICS Singapore's acquisition of MobTexting, India

Belgacom International Carrier Services Asia Pte Ltd (BICS Singapore), a 100 percent subsidiary of the international communications enabler BICS, acquired 100% stake of 3M Digital Networks Private Limited (MOBtexting), India for an undisclosed amount.

Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan advised BICS and the team was led by Gaurav Dayal (Partner) along with Swasti Ray (Senior Associate), Kartik Chatrath (Associate) and Amrusha Monga (Associate).

The deal team was also supported by three other teams from LKS, led by Kunal Arora (Partner) (for legal due diligence), Noorul Hassan (Partner) (for employment related aspects and diligence) and Vindhya S (Partner) (for IP related aspects and diligence) respectively, for the transaction.

Burgeon Law advised MOBtexting and the sellers.

This strategic acquisition will accelerate BICS' strategy to become a communications platform company, incorporating MOBtexting's suite of cloud-based omnichannel communications services and its platform into BICS' value proposition
