NovoJuris Legal acts on Elmed Life Sciences Series A fundraise

Elmed Life Sciences Private Limited has raised $2.7 million from a Series A fundraise from AgriSURE Fund, managed by NABVENTURES.

NovoJuris Legal advised AgriSURE Fund on this fundraise. The Firm managed regulatory requirements, conducted legal due diligence, drafted and negotiated transaction documents which required alignment to the strategic goals. The firm also facilitated multiple stakeholder discussions to provide a highly efficient closure of the transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Ashwin Bhat (Deputy Managing Partner), Amol Chitnis (Junior Partner), Anjana Hedge (Associate) and Nitin Thomas (Junior Associate).

Founded by Pruthivin Reddy Madduri and Nikhil Konkathi, Elmed Life Sciences is engaged in the business of manufacturing of nutritional supplements and probiotics, along with end-to-end contract manufacturing services to healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.

The Company will utilise the fresh capital to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen R&D and scale distribution networks.
