Home-grown payments solution provider Pine Labs has raised close to $100 million from Lone Pine Capital as part of secondary and primary share sale.
Post this round of fund raising, Pine Labs is valued in excess of USD 2 billion and is one of India’s most valuable fintech startups.
Phoenix Legal acted for Pine Labs with a team of Partners Saket Shukla, Sriram Ramachandran and Associate Maryam Naaz Quadri.
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, led by Partners Kota Chandan and Anshuman Sakle advised Lone Pine on the Indian law aspects of the transaction.
