Shardul, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Hogan Lovells act on ACME Solar ₹2,800 crore

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has raised ₹2,800 crore from a Qualified Institutional Placement of equity shares.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised ACME Solar on this QIP.

The transaction was led by Prashant Gupta (Partner and National Practice Head – Capital Markets) and Sayantan Dutta (Partner), with support from Romit Raja Srivastava (Principal Associate), Shivang Agarwal (Senior Associate), and Associates Aishwariya Chaturvedi and Dipti Tharwani.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised the Placement Agents, ICICI Securities and IIFL Capital Services Limited, on this QIP.

The transaction was led by Manan Lahoty (Partner, Head - Capital Markets), Vishal Yaduvanshi (Partner, Regional Co-Head - Capital Markets - North) and Puneet Passi (Partner), with assistance from Rishi Nandkeolyar (Senior Associate), and Associates Arjun Badola, Ritvik Maheshwari, Vatsala Parashar, Abhirup Manna, and Naman Kulshrestha.

Hogan Lovells acted as the internationl legal counsel to the placement agents.

The transaction team was led by Biswajit Chatterjee (Head of the India Practice and Managing Partner of the Dubai Office).

ACME Solar Holdings is a renewable energy company in India with a portfolio of solar, wind, battery energy storage system, hybrid and firm and dispatchable renewable energy projects. It is one of the largest renewable energy independent power producers in India and among the top 10 renewable energy players in India in terms of total capacity (including operational and under construction capacity) as of March 31, 2026.
