Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Desai & Diwanji act on Dhoot Transmission - Israel's RideVision collaboration

Dhoot Automotive Systems Private Limited has entered into a collaboration with Ride Vision Limited, an Israel-based company specializing in Advanced Rider Assistance Systems (ADAS) and AI-powered collision avoidance technologies.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Dhoot Automotive Systems on this collaboration.

The transaction team was led by Jamshed Bhumgara (Partner) and Namrata Bhagwatula (Partner), with support from Aparna R. (Senior Associate) and Mannat Mahey (Associate).

The collaboration contemplates the establishment of a joint venture in India to develop and localize advanced driver assistance solutions for the Indian automotive market. The arrangement also includes the licensing of RideVision’s proprietary technology and know-how to support the development, manufacturing and commercialization of ADAS solutions tailored to Indian road and operating conditions.

The transaction represents a significant cross-border collaboration between India and Israel in the automotive safety technology sector. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of intelligent mobility and road safety solutions in India.
