Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas facilitates Citius TransNet ₹1,105 crore IPO

Citius TransNet Investment Trust has made an initial public offering of equity shares aggregating to ₹1,105 crore.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co acted as legal counsel to Citius TransNet Investment Trust (the Trust), EAAA TransInfra Managers Limited (Investment Manager), and Epic TransNet Infrastructure Private Limited (Sponsor) on the Trust’s formation, private placement of securities and IPO.

The Capital Markets team was led by Nikhil Naredi (Partner) and Rohit Tiwari (Partner), with support from Saloni Tyagi (Principal Associate), Shruthi Hariharan (Senior Associate), Associates Shruti Maheshwari, Gayathri Krishnan, Shariba Tasneem and Anshika Tyagi.

The Dispute Resolution team was led by Allwin Godwin (Partner), along with Niranjana Pandian (Associate).

The Competition team was led by Harman Singh Sandhu (Partner), Yaman Verma (Partner) and Radhika Seth (Partner), along with Apurva Badoni (Senior Associate).

This is the first transaction that facilitated an AIF liquidity event through the InvIT route.

Citius TransNet Investment Trust invests in a diversified portfolio of transport sector assets, with a special focus on highway infrastructure. The initial portfolio of Citius comprises 10 road assets, including 7 toll-based and 3 annuity-based projects, totaling 3400+ lane kilometers.​
