CarbonStrong Technologies Private Limited has concluded a seed investment round led by Foundation for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship and Rainmatter Investments.

Founding Partner Purusharth Singh provided strategic guidance.

Founded in 2022, CarbonStrong is a start-up focusing on innovative technology to produce low carbon concrete by replacing carbon-intensive raw materials like cement with industrial byproducts from coal and steel industries.

The transaction reflects increasing investors’ appetite for decarbonisation technologies targeting the construction sector.
