Trilegal advises Signature Global on ₹1,283 crore investment by RMZ for Gurugram project

Signature Global (India) Limited has secured a ~₹1,283 crore purchase and subscription of shares by RMZ (Millennia Realtors Private Limited), resulting in the formation of a 50:50 joint venture at Gurugram Commercity Limited to develop a large-scale mixed-use project in Gurugram.

Trilegal advised Signature Global and Gurugram Commercity Limited on this transaction. The Firm advised on all aspects of the transaction, including structuring, documentation, negotiations and closing.

The proposed development, with an estimated project capital value of ~₹14,000–16,000 crore, will comprise premium office buildings, hotel assets and curated retail space envisioned as a design-led commercial district on the Southern Peripheral Road in Gurugram, utilizing approximately 3.94 million square feet of FSI.

The mixed-use project development represents Signature’s first large sized commercial real estate development within its existing land portfolio, marking a strategically significant milestone in its portfolio diversification. The transaction represents a significant strategic collaboration between the parties, combining development expertise and institutional commercial real estate capability to create a landmark destination in one of India’s most active business corridors.
